Safari Elopement in Laikipia

In January 2025, we had the privilege of bringing Claudia’s dream safari elopement to life at Tassia, a breathtaking eco-luxury haven tucked away in Laikipia. With 65 cherished guests ready to witness love in the wild, Claudia envisioned a celebration that was elegant, understated, and sprinkled with cultural accents. Think river rock church ceremony framed by a driftwood arch, followed by a starry-sky themed reception that gave “dining under the stars” a whole new level of glamour. Rustic barrels, hay bales, and pergola-covered catering tables completed the look, perfectly blending bush vibes with five-star finesse.
Behind the scenes, our team was on a mission worthy of a safari adventure itself: wrangling naked farmhouse tables, brown ankara runners, raffia fringe placemats, nude napkins (yes, the classy kind), floral centerpieces, fairy lights, and even a canopy tent that turned the dusty lugga into something straight out of a wedding magazine. By sunset, guests were marveling at how quickly the wilderness had transformed into an enchanting venue. And Claudia? She couldn’t stop smiling, everyone was happy and that’s all we cared about.
Valentine's Dinner for Two
Case study:
Some events come with a thousand guests, a full orchestra, and a guest list that rivals State House. And then there are the ones that only need two chairs—but still demand just as much magic. This Valentine’s in Nyari, Nairobi, gourmet chef Collins wanted to spoil his client’s spouse with an intimate dinner that felt as unforgettable as the cuisine he was preparing. He knew the food would wow; he called us in to make sure the setting whispered romance louder
than a love song.
With only a few hours on the clock (because love ain’t on the clock), our team got to work. We draped the backdrop in crimson fabric, laced it with pearls, roses, and fairy lights—basically, Cupid’s Pinterest board come to life. At the center sat a perfectly set table for two, complete with candlelight, a lush floral centerpiece, and elegant tableware. To seal the deal, we added a cozy lounge where the couple could sip, chat, and melt into the evening after their meal. When the lights twinkled on and the chef unveiled his creations, the couple was blown away. Chef Collins was ecstatic too—because let’s be honest, a five-star dinner tastes even better when it’s served in a five-star atmosphere, right?
Kuhanda Ithigi Traditional Ceremony

In the Kikuyu community, Kuhanda Ithigi is no ordinary event—it’s the official moment when the groom’s family declares their intentions, and trust us, you don’t want anything going wrong on that day. Muthoni, our bride, knew this all too well. With her groom and his family (read hawk eyed aunties) set to arrive at her parents’ home in Buru Buru, she wanted a reception setup that honored tradition while weaving in tasteful modern accents. After all, first impressions count and in-laws remember everything.
Our mission was clear: create a setting that felt both culturally rooted and effortlessly elegant. We set the stage with crisp Bline tents and high-peak catering tents, paired with bentwood chairs and round tables dressed to perfection. For table styling, we layered cowrie shell placemats, Ankara napkins, and lush floral centerpieces, bringing vibrant authenticity to every detail. A Kikuyu-themed entry sign welcomed guests in style and doubled as a cheerful photo wall, erm…because if there isn’t a photo, did it even happen?
By the time the tents were hoisted on the eve of the event and the final touches completed, the transformation was undeniable. Muthoni was radiant, thrilled that her vision had come alive so beautifully, and more than ready to welcome her groom’s family with pride. The day unfolded flawlessly and just like the fairy godmother, we left with our hearts full and a twinkle in the eyes. Sigh.
Destination Cross Culture Wedding in Nairobi

He went, he saw, he conquered. That’s Fred’s love story in a nutshell. While living in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamie’s mother’s homeland, he met Jamie online after she’d visited three weeks earlier. Cupid, surely. Fast-forward to their wedding in Kenya, where Jamie had one simple but very specific request: a spring-inspired theme that whispered elegance, not shouted florals. She handed us her muted colour palette—champagne, soft sage, and ivory—and essentially said, “Over to you, Lucidity.” Brave move, but a wise one.
To honour her vision, we built a moodboard worthy of Pinterest envy, layering delicate hues and floral accents with almost scientific precision. The spring theme flowed gracefully across the décor, but with subtle Kenyan influences woven in—because what’s love without a little cultural fusion? From champagne-dressed tables to soft sage touches and ivory blooms, sage green napkins, candles, wildlife inspired table numbers, everything sang in harmony.
By the eve of the wedding, the transformation was nothing short of magical. The muted tones radiated sophistication, the Kenyan accents grounded the celebration, and the atmosphere felt like spring had flown straight to Nairobi. The bride, the groom, and their guests were ecstatic. And us? We were quietly chuffed too, because nothing delights us more than delivering a love story that feels as seamless as Jamie and Fred’s—except perhaps a slice of wedding cake at the end.
Ballroom Wedding Celebration for 100 Guests

Let’s be honest—ballroom weddings just ooze royalty vibes. You get chandeliers, grand staircases, and carpets so plush you feel guilty walking on them. And compared to garden weddings (where one stray gust of wind can send a napkin flying into your soup or a bug right into your eye, aaargh!), ballrooms are delightfully less exacting… or is it just us? Either way, we partnered with Wangechi fellow event planner to deliver décor for her client’s big day at the iconic Villa Rosa Kempinski, we knew it was time to marry simplicity with grandeur.
Our scope sounded simple enough: ceremony area décor, the high table, reception tables, and entry signage. Easy peasy or so it seemed. The catch? Everything had to be executed on the same day. No pressure, right? With military precision (and just enough tea and smochas to energize), our team set to work. We began with the ceremony area at dawn, ensuring it exuded elegance from the very first “I do,” before moving on to the high table and guest reception tables. By midday, the transformation was in full bloom: a ballroom setup so resplendent it could have doubled as a royal gala.
The result? A celebration dripping with sophistication and warmth, perfectly tailored for the grandeur of Villa Rosa Kempinski. Wangechi was thrilled, her client was over the moon, and we walked away reminded that while ballrooms might make the work a touch easier, creating unforgettable memories still demands artistry, precision, and just a pinch of our special spice magic because not all heroes wear capes, right?
Rustic Themed Wedding in Nairobi

Every planner has that moment when the phone rings, and the bride says, “My wedding is in two weeks…” Cue le dramatic pause. That was Crystal, our radiant bride from Uganda. Now, the instinct would be to run for the hills never to be seen again but we put on a brave face and faced the brief. She shared a meticulously detailed mood board—painstakingly filled with inspiration that told us exactly what she wanted: a simple yet stunning all-white ceremony followed by a rustic reception with cultural accents at the serene Shamba Café in Loresho.
With her vision in hand, we set about creating a setting that whispered elegance and authenticity. Guests were welcomed by a chic fabric entry sign before taking their places on crisp white Wimbledon chairs, framed by an exquisite draped backdrop for the vows. For the reception, we layered rustic charm with handmade rustic vases brimming with fresh florals, farmhouse striped napkins, and an incredible Instagram themed photo wall that became the event’s hotspot.
Though we didn’t get to see Crystal’s reaction on the day (probably too busy soaking up her best life), her heartfelt message afterward said it all: pure delight. For us, it was a proud reminder of why we do what we do—because whether it’s two months, three weeks or two days (but please don’t push it), we put our hearts and backs into it and the result is all well worth it.
